March 12th
:
After a week
off, the band reconvened to get to work, perfecting
their sound for their planned upcoming recording
sessions. In addition, the band has begun focusing
their attention on finding the right venue to
perform live. The band is eager to play in front
of a live audience again.
February 27th
:
Canto III had
a lengthy discussion about the direction of
their album and feel they have a plan that will
get them to being more productive during their
recording sessions. Within the next month, the
goal is to have a solid demo that can begin
to be distributed.
February 20th
:
The guys were
feeling a little worn down by the recording
process so took a weekend off to just jam and
have fun. They took the opportunity to work
on a few unfinished songs and discuss the direction
of the band. Everyone is excited and are looking
forward to the coming months.
February 13th :
Canto III sought
to lay down a recording of Backbreaker,
unfortunately, things did not go as planned.
They ran into several complications & due
to a lack of time, were able to put little down.
They will try again, hopefully with greater
success.
February 6th
:
The band battled
through a grueling recording session that was
laced, laced, laced with . . . . problems.
Despite the technical difficulties & human
error the band was pleased with their performances
on Indifference and will be releasing
it soon.
January 29th:
Canto III's recent recording of
Wicked
has been mixed, mastered, and now posted. Listen
to the streaming audio of
Wicked in
the
Audio Clips section
of the site.
In addition, the band went through a short photo
shoot, gathering a nice collection of band photos
that can be found throughout the site and on
the
Photo Album
page.
January 22nd:
Canto III puts down a proper recording of
Wicked
and are excited about the prospects of
more recording sessions as the year progresses
.
They hope to release
Wicked to
the general public in the weeks to come.
January 15th:
Porno Stickmen's existence officially
comes to an end, bringing about the rise of
Canto III. The band is amped about
the name change and are expecting great things.
2005
October 8th:
Things still clicking well for the Stick. Tonightthey
went through a short jam just to keep things
fresh and sharpen up a bit.
Wicked
&
Backbreaker are sounding good,
giving the band a good feel about their direction.
Session scheduled for two weeks from today.
